Vehicle Description We are pleased to offer this 1956 Pontiac Chieftain hardtop coupe.
If green is your color, this car is for you!!! We just received this rare vehicle that has been restored some years ago and has held up quite well.
The former owner believed the drivetrain to be the original 316 V8 with an automatic transmission.
The odometer now reads 22,886 and is being sold with a new PA title that reads exempt so we cannot verify the true miles.
As of now, this car sits on chrome Cragar wheels with good tires.
The original steel wheels (and original hubcaps) with older tires are also included with purchase as well as some extra parts/manuals from the previous owner.
The interior seating is cloth and seems to be period correct and in nice condition.
Bumpers and other chrome pieces are in decent condition for a 65 year old car with lots of trim and ornaments.
The interior/exterior lighting/horn all function as they should and the doors shut well for big heavy pieces of metal.
